Who we are
Stratyx Website Rebuild builds and hosts websites for local businesses. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Stratyx Website Rebuild, and “you” means the business that orders a website from us, and anyone who uses this website.
The company behind Stratyx Website Rebuild is Stratyx Ventures LLC, registered in Florida.
By ordering a website, claiming a preview, or using this website, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle what you send us.
What you get
- A website for your business, built from your intake answers and your business’s details, such as its services, hours, reviews, and photos.
- Launch on your own domain. If you already own one, we connect it. If you don’t, we register one in your business’s name.
- Hosting and updates for as long as you are a customer.
- Changes in plain English. Tell us what to change by email or from your private manage page. We make the change and email you when it’s live. Changes cover your site’s content: its text, services, hours, service area, contact details, and photos. New pages, new features, connections to other software, and design changes are not part of the monthly fee.
- Quote requests from your site’s form, emailed to you and listed on your manage page, with a count of your site’s visits.
Price and payment
It costs $1,000 to launch your site, then $95 a month for hosting, updates, and changes. The monthly fee starts one month after you pay the launch fee and renews every month until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars.
You pay through Stripe, which handles your card details. We never see them.
If a monthly payment fails, we will email you. If it is still unpaid 30 days later, we may take your site offline until it is paid.
From order to launch
- You fill in our intake form: the services to feature, photos, your license number if you have one, and the domain you want.
- We build your site from your answers and send you a link to review it. If you claimed a preview we built, we fold your answers into that preview instead.
- You tell us what to change. We make one round of changes before launch, and launch when you approve the site.
- Your site goes live on your domain.
Cancelling
There is no long-term contract. To cancel, email us at info@stratyxventures.com from the address we have on file for you. We stop the monthly billing, so you are not charged again. Your site stays online until the end of the month you have paid for, then we take it down. We don’t refund part of a month.
Refunds
If you cancel before your site goes live, we refund the launch fee in full. Once your site is live on your domain, the launch fee is not refundable. Monthly fees are not refunded.
Who owns what
- Your domain is yours. One we register for you is in your business’s name, and we pay its renewal while you are a customer. If you leave, it stays yours, and we help you move it.
- Your content is yours: your business name and logo, the photos you send us, and the text we write for your site. If you leave, we send you your site’s text and photos when you ask.
- Reviews belong to the people who wrote them. Your site quotes them word for word from the reviews customers have left for your business, and we never change what a review says.
- The design, templates, and code that run your site are ours. You use them through our service while you are a customer, and they don’t transfer when you leave.
- You give us permission to use the content you send us, and your business’s public details, to build, host, and update your site.
Your part
- Send us only content you have the right to use, and keep your details accurate. You are responsible for what your site says about your business, including license numbers and claims about your work.
- Keep your manage page link private. Anyone who has it can request changes to your site.
- Don’t use your site, its forms, or your manage page to send spam or harmful code, to mislead people, or to break the law.
- People who send quote requests through your site want to reach your business. You decide how to reply and how to handle their details.
We may decline a change that is unlawful, misleading, or outside the service, and we may take down content that breaks these terms.
Preview and sample sites
A preview site is a draft we built for review. It can change before launch, and it is not live on the business’s own domain until it is claimed. A sample site shows a fictional business: its reviews, rating, and contact details are placeholder text.
Using this website
You are welcome to read this website and share links to it. Please do not:
- try to break into, overload, or disrupt it or the sites we host
- copy large parts of it with automated tools, apart from search engines that follow our robots rules
- send spam, harmful code, or misleading information through its forms
- pretend to be someone else when you contact us
Availability
We host your site and work to keep it online and secure, but we don’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
No warranties
We provide the service and this website as they are and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about them, express or implied.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost customers, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.
If we stop the service
We can stop providing the service with 30 days’ notice by email. We then stop billing you and help you move your domain and your site’s content.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms or our prices. We will email customers at least 30 days before a change that affects them, and you can cancel before it takes effect. When we change these terms, we post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
Governing law
The laws of the State of New York govern these terms, without regard to its rules on conflicts of law. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
